Wheels of Independence
For adults with developmental disabilities and mobility challenges, transportation is often the bridge between isolation and community.
The Charis Care-a-Van is a dedicated accessible vehicle designed to ensure our residents can attend medical appointments, church services, and community events safely and comfortably.
The van is equipped to carry wheelchairs.
The Van will be operated by volunteer drivers holding a BC Class 4 restricted or higher ensuring all drivers are professional keeping everyone safer.
Rides must be booked at least 48 hours in advance. Rides are by donation depending on destination to cover costs.
